3. Confident Communication

This course will increase your confidence in your communications with others at work.  Get across to others what it is that you would like them to know and understand, in a communication style based on influence, positive behaviour and sensitivity.

You will increase your awareness of your own behaviour and learn to modify your behaviour to suit more situations and improve the outcomes.

This course combines our two communication skills courses into one powerful intervention to improve your understanding of effective communication, and build your confidence in being a great communicator.

Build your awareness of different communication styles and learn how to read other people so that you can be a more effective communicator.  You will complete a communication style assessment and learn the structure of how to clarify information, ask effective questions and make your point clearly, yet sensitively.

This course will provide you with the skill to communicate in a constructive way that enhances communication both ways.

Full day course, 9am – 4pm

Includes workbook, arrival tea or coffee, Morning tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea.

NZTE Capability Development Voucher Scheme

This Course has qualified for the NZTE Capability Development Voucher Scheme.

Eligibility:

Small and medium size businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for services such as training workshops, courses and coaching that build the management capabilities of their owners, operators and key managers.

Business Central is an accredited provider of the NZTE Capability Development Voucher scheme and approved businesses will receive a voucher for up to 50% of the total workshop cost. The voucher amount is dependent on the price of the training or workshop.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received 5 clear working days prior to the event. Cancellations after this time and ‘no-shows’ on the day will be charged the full invoice amount. Substitutions are permitted if you can no longer attend.
