Health and Safety is so much more than just keeping your people safe. It is about ensuring our workplaces are happy, healthy, and thriving. The Healthy2020 Roadshow, brought to you by Business Central and ACC, will update you on the latest Health & Safety initiatives and equip you with the right tools to support a safe and healthy workplace.
This two-hour workshop will present a summary of key updates to Health & Safety legislation, before exploring different dimensions of health and well-being and helping you better understand how a holistic view of mental health can benefit your staff.
We will explore:
- Practical lessons learned from initiatives in well-being, health and mental health from New Zealand businesses
- Case studies with examples of current best practice in well-being, health and mental health in the New Zealand context
- The legal background to well-being, health and mental health in NZ
- Moral reasons for supporting mental health and well-being in your organisation, not only for staff but also for your leadership team
- The positive return on investment when prioritising well-being and the costs of neglecting it
As advocates for Health and Safety in your workplace, it is up to you to ensure that you are up-to-date on the latest initiatives and best-case practices to make sure your people go home safe and well at the end of each day.
If you want to start the year out right, then Healthy2020 will be an event focused on bringing long-term stability and financial returns to your business by helping you take care of your team and ensure they are always at their peak performance.
