The Business Central Health & Safety Roadshow is back.
What does that mean for you? Well for starters, WorkSafe have cleared their backlog of prosecutions from the old Act and have begun to enforce the regulations under the HSAW Act 2015. You’ve been preparing for this – now to check if you’ve ticked all the boxes.
Our resident H&S Trainer and Consultant, Adrienne Pryde, will be leading the show. Adrienne has just been qualified as one of Worksafe’s first wave of SafetyPlus assessors. SafetyPlus is a new assessment tool for ensuring your work practices are meeting the standards WorkSafe will be expecting from now on. Adrienne will be giving you a full introduction to SafetyPlus and how it can help you build robust H&S workplace practices. She will also be working through a Bow Tie Analysis demonstration with you, an invaluable methodology for identifying and categorising your core risk areas. Feel that peace of mind from knowing you’ve got everything covered.
WorkSafe have also indicated they will be putting a focus on wellness in the workplace as part of their future assessments. In that area we have guest speakers, Southern Cross Health Care, to demonstrate the need for wellbeing in the workplace. They’ll also be presenting their recent launch of BeingWell, Southern Cross’ comprehensive workplace health and wellbeing programme.
