The purpose of this two-day course is to extend the skills of the health and safety representative to an advanced level which allows you to develop the skills and tools you need to promote an even safer, healthier workplace.
There is often a significant direct and/or indirect cost to injuries and poor risk management in your workplace. Skilled health and safety representatives can engage workers, managers, and others to make a lasting difference.
Key audience:
This course is suitable for people who have completed the Stage 1 and 2 courses and are interested in taking their skills to an advanced level. It would also be useful for managers or leaders who would like to be across this level of information for their organisations.
Learning outcomes
- Collate and report on various sources of injury information within the workplace, determining causal factors and links to productivity improvement to provide detailed feedback to H&S Committee meetings for further action.
- Generate improvements within your workplace to reduce injury cost and occurrence.
- Improve worker buy-in to the business’s health and safety systems.
