This course covers the key legislation regarding wages law in the employment relationship. Employers have a responsibility to administer salary and wage payments in accordance with employment legislation. This course provides participants with an understanding of lawful payroll procedures relating to the employment relationship and its various legislative requirements. Participants will also be shown how to facilitate manual checking when an entitlement is questioned by an employee.

This course is suitable for people who are responsible for the payroll in their organisations and HR professionals who need to be up to date with the legislation around wages. The course would also be useful for managers who would like to stay informed about the payroll and HR requirements as they relate to their employees.
